New Domain Name

So, here are some of the key words that may work for my new domain name.

Young, early, new, find, plan, earn, build, money, wealth, retire, funds, income, invest, future.

Now it's just a matter of piecing it together.

Why those words...other than those being the ones that describe you...I was thinking a better order would be:

find new plan, earn money early, build wealth, invest funds for future income, retire young...

I adlibbed the for, but the rest is all the same. Also, I prefer NEW SCHEME as opposed to NEW PLAN, but whatever:)

or alternative...maybe better...

find money, earn early wealth, invest funds for future plan, build new income, retire young

I'm looking at creating a personal finance site. Hopefully, it will generate traffic, keep me interested, and possibly some income. The hard part is somming up with a short, meaningful, catchy domain name. So many are already taken.

Why not go completly off and do something like motley fool?

I would except that when your site is starting out it helps to have key words in your name (for search optimization). Plus it helps new people passing your name on a search engine figure out what you do. If it has both a uniqueness and some keywords it would be fine. I just have to find a balance.

I mean would you go to amazon or google if you didn't already know what they were?

Here are a few finance site names:
Five Cent Nickel
All Thing Financial
Wealthy Blogger
The Budgeting Babe
Smart Money Daily
Owe Boat
Irregular Payments
Frugal Girl

How bout...

Early Retirement
Poor Mans Future
Poor Mans Financial

eh...it's a start

The goal of the site will be for finance for 20 and 30 something’s that not is dept. Too many sites focus on debt. I want to focus on people with positive net worth. In other words people who have money and want to know what to do with it or people that are starting out and need resources.

I had originally thought of the corny ‘Running on Money’. But since my name means nothing in financial circles something else would be better. So, the name needs to focus on young and upward mobile. That's why some of the other names were Young Money as opposed to Old Money.

Topics would be Major Purchases, Investments, Retirement, Tracking Progress, Kids, Credit Scores, Resources, and more.

I kind of like that...Running on Money...it's corny, but kind of gets at what your trying to do. When I piece most of this stuff together it comes out pretentious. That really isn't the core group your going for. You honestly are shooting for the same clientel as motley fool.

...if you want to throw around financial terms, there's always the Fiduciary Financier...
