Here are two informational maps of America that provide an insight into regional differences.
The Great Pop vs. Soda Controversy
This truly varies by region of the country. I have no problem with either Pop or Soda. It's the people who call everything Coke that bothers me. There are so many varieties why would you call it Coke.

This handy map is updated daily with new state polls. I've added it to my list of daily reading. It provides a unique view of how the country is divided politically.

That's pretty cool. That pop vs soda thing was interesting. It's kind of interesting to see the difference. It isn't even all of wisconsin that calls it soda.
